Old Creek Rites

Born in Fall; educated in Winter; forgotten in Spring; waiting for Summer.

This is a project that is focused on play and questions.

The concept is based on ritual: a series of actions performed in a prescribed order. Specifically, there will be a repetition of the first quote, image, human response, and AI response. The intent is to explore the nature, not in comparison, but in symbiosis: the water and the rocks, the soil and the sky, all that comes together as the old creek.

Here are the parameters:

The first question from a text is located. It can be from ANY type of text, however, I will obviously be using ones that I have on hand. If you have recommendations, please leave them in the comments.
Coming from the school of Archetypal and Depth Psychology, there is always an image, always.
The first response from the question will be from me. There are no rules for this response: one word to an essay, or a poem.
Then, ChatGPT will also provide a response.

Initially, the objective of this project is to first take note of how author’s use questions in their writing. Secondly, to creatively respond to those questions. And, thirdly, to observe the creation patterns of AI and human response.

From there, we’ll see what happens down the road.
